TRU 22 WEEK 1 2020

Tru’s All 22
Week 1
The Tru 22 is for all the ballers of the week.… You must win to get in unless you came with the smoke and ya kicker choke. But here are the best of week 1 of the 2020 season
Offense
QB Aaron Rodgers Green Bay Packers
The best QB in week 1 put on a show in the division showdown. He made all the right plays and dominated the Vikings defense.
Clyde Edwards-Helaire RB Kansas City Chiefs
Helaire bounced off tackle after tackle on his way to a solid rushing performance. He is the perfect complement to the high powered aerial attack of the Chiefs
Josh Jacobs RB Oakland Raiders
This guy is a grown man!!! Jacobs is a complete back with all of the goods to really start going for the number 1 back in the league title. Elite balance with great pad level mixed with great lateral quickness. Excited to see him as he grows in the league.
Benny Snell RB Pittsburgh Steelers
Snell did an excellent job of running hard and helping the Steelers offense stay on schedule. With Connor out this week, I hope continues his success because the offense moves much better with him on the field
Devante Adams WR Green Bay Packers
Dear Vikings, that revamped secondary doesn't include a matchup for this guy. Find one immediately. Sincerely, a concerned Jerm.
Deandre Hopkins WR Arizona Cardinals
The best receiver in the league showed what he adds to an already explosive offense. His body control at his size is exceptional. He is the biggest mismatch at wide receiver on a week to week basis.
David Bakhtiari T Green Bay Packers
He did an excellent job in both the run game and in pass protection. He is arguably the best left tackle in football and he shows it week after week consistently.
Kelechi Osemele G Kansas City Chiefs
He may be an upgrade on that line overall, most especially in the run game. The veteran guard played great in his Chiefs debut.
Ben Jones C Tennessee Titans
Big part of one of the most consistent rushing attacks in football. Say what you want about Henry but Jones and company do an excellent job of creating running lanes.
Joe Thuney G New England Patriots
Thuney is the Patriots best offensive lineman by far and it shows. Any big down they have to run the ball they are running behind him. One of the 3 biggest re-signings of the offseason for the Pats.
Andrew Whittworth T Los Angeles Rams
The veteran left tackle continues to play the position at a high level. He is still a top 5 player arguably at the tackle position in the NFL.
Defense
Jeffery Simmons DL Tennessee Titans
He was the most dominant defender for the Titans this week. He beat double teams and dominated his one on one matchups. Simmons is a rising star in this league
Chris Jones DL Kansas City Chiefs
He is one of the 5 best defensive linemen in football and this guy deserved every nickel, quarter, and dime. (You see what I did there lol)
Ryan Kerrigan Edge Washington Football
This was a turn back the clock game for the vet pass rusher. He had the game-sealing fumble recovery.
Chase Young Edge Washington Football
The rookie edge prospect showed exactly why he was such a top prospect in last year draft. Young forced a fumble and got to the quarterback like a veteran player.
Bud Dupree Edge Pittsburgh Steelers
Bud meet Saquon, Saquon meet Bud, the most disruptive player on the field.
Patrick Queen LB Baltimore Ravens
The rookie got the first sack of the game on a big drive that got the browns off the field. The rookie linebacker played awesome in his first start. Looking forward to seeing how he grows in this Ravens defense.
Jaire Alexander CB Green Bay Packers
Watching him play corner is so much fun. He plays with great technique great hands and he seems to always be around the ball.
Stephon Gilmore CB New England Patriots
Gilmore is the only piece of that New England defense that you just don’t have to worry about. He doesn’t get beat deep, he is a good tackler, and he takes a player out the game consistently.
Jamal Adams S Seattle Seahawks
The best in the world(cues cm punk theme music). Adams is the best safety in football and it is illustrated every week with his versatility. Sacks, interceptions, tackles, and even covers tight ends if you need him to. Kam Chancellor with better hips and explosiveness.
Budda Baker S Arizona Cardinals
Outside of Pat Pete he may be the most important piece to that secondary. He covers a lot of ground and gives a lot of help around the line of scrimmage. He was a tackling machine on Sunday.
Jonathan Abrams S Oakland Raiders
Abrams is one of the brightest young safeties in the NFL. He was all over the field Sunday and he proves to be the Raiders best defensive back and linebacker.
